yeaaaaaa…. so remember when I used to update our blog with things like photographs and weddings and engagement shoots? Those were the days, huh?
And how many times have you looked at my trip to Chile? You want that little cat on the produce to come home with you, don’t you? Or the two baby foxes? You’ve named them already, haven’t you?
Accept my apologies, won’t you? I have no excuse outside of the fact that we’re kindof busy over here at Hitched Studios and it’s winter in Boston. I don’t even know what that means, but I’m using it as an excuse.
So…ya. Us. Here’s an update:
Ben’s amazing, as always. He’s been using these few months to get up snowboarding as much as he can and work on artsy cool stuff around his loft. He’s super crafty and talented (newsflash) so he builds stuff over there. As you can tell, I’m not invited over there much (BEN!?!?!?) so I’m not 100% sure what he’s doing, but he talks about it a lot and apparently I’m not listening. He did an absolutely SICK shoot for a local band HERE. And you should know about that blog anyway. It’s his personal work and it’s awesome like him. He’s a talented and kind guy, and he’s surely one of the best friends I’ve ever even hoped for. And, as always, I’m sure he’s secretly madly in love with me so I’m always very, very, VERY sweet to him.
I’m good. Like Ben, I’m insaaaaanely psyched for this season to start. I have another photography company called T.Spoon which keeps me busy and shooting in these winter months. If you hate children, don’t look at that site. Otherwise check it out HERE. I’ve been shooting stuff for restaurants, a hotel, a website, a couple of new babies were born so I went over and hung with those Smalls. And, as mentioned, I went to Chile for a few weeks. That was…well..that was a trip of a lifetime. I’ve been all over the world by myself, and I think this trip was in the top three. I’ve been up snowboarding with Ben a couple of times. I fall off the chairlift so that’s pretty hot. The chairlift operator felt so bad for me by the end of the day that we started flirting. I guess he liked the look of me face down. KIDDING!!! kidding. chill. I do lots of yoga, lots of running, I’m taking a photography course, and I do lots and lots of business development stuff.
Life is really good here at (and as) Hitched. We’ve been working super hard at all sorts of behind-the-scenes things. Automated billing, new wall displays, new stationary, new sample albums, finishing our booking season for 2010, taking a photography course, facebook fan paging (become a fan!!) going to workshops, office organization, Quickbooks. Ya know…stuff that’s riveting to blog about. gag me.
OK, so I’ll leave you with two cool links, besides the links to Ben and my other work. This should keep ya busy.
Erin Jang over at Indigo Bunting will make you weep a little bit with how creative and talented she is as a designer. Go here.
A sculptor turned cake artist? C’mon. That rocks. Spend a little time checking out these creations: Sweet Bea Cakes.
So, we’ll be back soon. I’m thinking about doing a photo of the day post. Which will soon become photo of the two day. Which will then become photo of the week. You’ll love it.
Talk soon. We miss you guys. We think of you. All. The. Time.
