If you visit our blog with any kind of regularity, you’ll remember Nikki and Lou’s amazing DIY wedding. It’s HERE.
We were never able to schedule their engagement session before their wedding because Lou graduated college the DAY before his wedding so he was busy for the several months leading up to the big day. We decided that it would be gorgeous if we waited for the Autumn colors to arrive and shoot them as a young, beautiful, married couple in love. I’m SO psyched we waited, we had such a good time! We shot at a killer diner in Cambridge called The Friendly Toast at 7:30am on a Sunday. (morning sunshine!) and then we headed over to Harvard’s campus and the Charles River bank. They brought their dog Monty who’s absolutely hilarious and adorable. We had a killer time. They’re a couple deeply in love and super sweet. It’s always a total joy to be around them.
Side note: a hawk flew over their ceremony back in May and on their honeymoon in Hawaii they had a hawk tattooed on Lou’s ribs. A continuation of the ink is on Nikki’s forearm. Rock. Steady. Love it.
